Medford Arts Center, Inc. invites you to the fifth edition of “Tuesdays with MARV,” featuring local artists and their work using MACI’s beloved Medford Arts Resource Vehicle. Join multimedia artist Maria Servellon as she presents her recent digital artworks plus a demo of how she creates these “video remixes.” Maria will talk about her artistic process and reasoning behind it, including topics such as impact of vulnerability in artmaking, art for healing, and “beauty in the errors.” Viewers are encouraged to ask questions and suggest add-ons while she works on a sample piece.

Maria Servellón is an award-winning filmmaker, multimedia artist, educator, and arts advocate from Boston. She received a BA in Studio Art and Japanese from UMASS Boston and an MFA in Film and Media Art from Emerson College. Her focus is film and digital media, including projection, installation, photography, drawing, and design. Maria’s work often explores synesthetic relationships between art, music, and dance.
