The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge presents an enormous night of rock and roll with the legendary Woggles, and Boston’s Muck and the Mires and the Chelsea Curve. The Woggles, seasoned garage rockers for more than 30 years, are touring with a renewed rallying cry to move ever forward despite the death of their lead guitar player Flesh Hammer, aka Jeff Walls, shortly before the pandemic took hold. Muck and the Mires were once described as “a mix of the 1964 Beatles and The Ramones” and were crowned No. 1 U.S. Garage Rock Band by Little Steven Van Zandt in his battle of the bands on MTV.  The Chelsea Curve offers a sonic template rooted in retro mod-pop but with enough snarl to roll with the punks and whip-smart hooks to hang with the rock and roll crowd.
