John Dalton’s Spheres of Influence will be hosting this month’s Medford Jazz Festival jam session at the West Medford Community Center. Tonight’s session will be preceded by a masterclass from 6:30 to 7 p.m., followed by the jam session until 10. Spheres of Influence members are Jim Robitaille on guitar, Erik Van Dam on saxophones, Jonathan Fagan on piano, Evan Palmer on  bass and John Dalton on drums.

Medford Jazz Festival jam sessions are a chance for both amateurs and professionals to catch up personally and musically. Cover is $10 at the door plus proof of vaccination. The Medford Jazz Festival launched in October 2020 with a five-day event showcasing the cultural diversity, creativity, and talent of local musicians through several virtual concerts.
