The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge is hosting “It’s Raining Sunshine,” a benefit event by the New England Comedy Sunshine Fund hosted by Lamont Price and Janet McNamara. Sponsored by Jack’s Abby, the show will feature comedians Corey Manning, Took Kavanagh, Thom Crowley, Laura Severse, and Dan Boulger.

The nonprofit New England Comedy Sunshine Fund was founded by comedians in 2013 to aid the family of a fallen comedy comrade, and has continued through the years as a way to assist standup comedians/comedy artists in need. The pandemic has once again brought out the best in the comedy community, and The Porch is joining forces with the NECSF to put on this fundraiser with the goal of shining a light on the generosity of artists. General admission tickets are $20 through Eventbrite.
