
GAINING PERSPECTIVE: Seeing Ourselves and the World Around Us – Opening Reception
Lakota YouthStay Photography and Art Exhibit “GAINING PERSPECTIVE: Seeing Ourselves and the World Around Us” will be at the Medford Public Library from 7/1-7/31 with a public reception in the Bonsignore Room on Wednesday 7/8 from 4:30-6pm.
From 2017 to today, Oglala Lakota youth from the Pine Ridge reservation in SD have visited Medford as part of the Lakota YouthStay culture exchange program. In this exhibit, the youth share who they are and their experiences as a Native youth and YouthStay participant .
From 7/1-7/8, the exhibit will feature 2017-2025 photographs. From 7/8-7/31, the photographs and art of the 2026 YouthStay participants will be featured.
