Salsa exploded on the American dance floors thanks to the hypnotic rhythms of its African and Cuban originations. To help you truly “feel” the rhythm of the dance you will sing “Oonka Ah” (no more counting!). Then, to feel comfortable in every dance club in the world, you will be introduced to both country and big-city styles of this social dance form. Dance Caliente’s co-owners and instructors, Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves, together offer a clear and creative approach to their teaching, showering you with laughter along with loving guidance every step of the way.

This workshop is perfect for the absolute beginner, dancers unfamiliar with Salsa, and anyone interested in developing the skills of a leader and follower. No partner necessary, just your sense of humor and willingness to try new things!
