DESCRIPTION:The Tufts University Department of Music presents violinist Joanna Kurkowicz performing Bach and Beyond Part 2. The program includes Bach’s Sonata No. 1 in G minor and the Partita in E major. As a bridge from Bach to the contemporary\, Kurkowicz will perform world premieres inspired by Bach written by Zygmunt Krauze\, Shirish Korde\, Robert Groslot and Douglas Boyce. \nNote: Due to university COVID regulations\, live audience attendees at Tufts Music events must be prepared to present a Tufts ID or COVID vaccination card showing that they have been vaccinated and boosted. This concert also can be viewed online via Tufts Music Live Streaming. \n
