The Medford Public Library is offering a four-week virtual course, ASL Basics for Beginners, for ages 12 to 18. The program will be led by an ASL instructor from Signing Basics, LLC. Students will learn the Manual Alphabet, days of the week, food and snacks, ASL negations and affirmations, basic ASL sentence structure and more. Students are expected to attend all four Zoom sessions (6 to 6:45 p.m. on October 10, 17, 24 and 31). Sign-up is required through the library’s online calandar.
