The Medford Public Library is offering another five-week course for students in grades 5 to 8 interested in learning American Sign Language. Led by an ASL instructor from Signing Basics, LLC, in five 30-minute virtual lessons, students will learn the Manual Alphabet; shapes, numbers and names; greetings, colors and clothing; information about Deaf culture, and more. 

Sign-up is required and students are expected to attend all five Zoom sessions, which will take place from 3:30 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays from June 2 through June 30.
