The Medford Public Library presents An Evening with Paul Theroux to celebrate the release of the Medford native’s latest book, “The Bad Angel Brothers.”  In the book, Theroux explores one of his most strongly held ideas — the power and influence of travel — and the differences between a character who stays home and another who goes away. A question-and-answer session and book signing will follow the presentation. Copies of “The Bad Angel Brothers” will be on sale at the event. Theroux is the author of many highly acclaimed books. His novels include “The Lower River,” “Under the Wave at Waimea” and “The Mosquito Coast,” and his renowned travel books include “Ghost Train to the Eastern Star” and “Dark Star Safari.” He lives in Hawaii and on Cape Cod.
