SUMMARY:Art Explorers: Thiebaud Cake Sculptures Make + Take Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Class will begin with a short introduction to the artwork of Wayne Thiebaud\, an artist known for his colorful paintings of cakes and other sweet treats. Students will then design and color their own cardboard cake templates before folding and assembling them into three-dimensional sculptures. \nTo bring their creations to life\, young artists will decorate their cakes with air-dry clay frosting\, sprinkles\, candles\, and other fun embellishments. For a special finishing touch\, each cake will be displayed on a plate and paired with a decorative fork to create a delightful bakery-inspired masterpiece. \nLed By: Alex Kessler \nFee: $40 \nAges 5-10
