Miller Suggested Donation: $5-$10\n\nPoets\, dreamers\, and writers – we want to see you\, hear you\, and welcome you! Bring an original poem or story to read. We’ll provide a microphone and podium.\n—\nGuest Poets:\n\nLinda Haviland Conte is the author of two poetry collections published by Ibbetson Street Press\, Seldom Purely and Slow As A Poem. Her work has appeared in the anthologies From the Farther Shore\, Constellations\, Bagels with the Bards\, and Connecticut River Review. Linda has been featured in Verse Daily and WCAI’s Poetry Sunday program\, and several of her poems were recognized by the National Federation of State Poetry Societies. Linda has served on the Board of The New England Poetry Club for ten years\, most recently as Vice President. (lindaconte.net)\n\nDavid P. Miller’s collection\, Bend in the Stair\, was published by Lily Poetry Review Books in 2021. Nixes Mate Books published his Sprawled Asleep in 2019. His poems have appeared in Meat for Tea\, Reed Magazine\, Jerry Jazz Musician\, Tar River Poetry\, Cherry Tree\, Second Coming\, The Ekphrastic Review\, The Disappointed Housewife\, and Blood + Honey\, among other journals. In 2025\, David received a Tanne Foundation award. He is a member of The New England Poetry Club’s Board of Directors\, and a member of Boston’s Jamaica Pond Poets and co-directs their Chapter and Verse literary reading series.\n\n—\nOpen mics are on the 4th Thursday of each month!
