DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and engaging concert on our hillside patio\, featuring Sulinha’s Trio! \nSulinha’s Trio performs original songs from her four children’s albums. Her songs are both educational and entertaining\, covering topics such as kindness\, pedestrian safety\, movement\, playing in the snow\, dental hygiene\, the four seasons\, numbers\, and animal facts\, alongside some traditional children’s songs. Drawing from her Brazilian heritage\, Sulinha incorporates Brazilian music influences\, featuring Bossa Nova and Baião styles\, and the sounds of instruments like the berimbau and pandeiro. \nSulinha is a three-time recipient of The Parents’ Choice Award and was also recognized as the runner-up for “Best Global Children’s Artist” by Funky Kids Radio Australia. Additionally\, she received the “Best Animated Video” award for her song “Zip It Up” and was the runner-up for the video of her song “We Should Be Kind.” The trio features Sulinha on vocals and acoustic guitar\, Erico Menino on percussion\, and Tom Yates on electric guitar and vocals. \nThis is an all ages performance and registration is not required. \nIn case of rain\, the concert will be moved inside. \nThis program is part of 2026 Medford Open Studios.
