SUMMARY:Art Explorers: Under the Wave Printmaking Make + Take Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Class will begin with a short introduction to the artwork of Katsushika Hokusai\, the renowned Japanese artist best known for The Great Wave. Students will create vibrant underwater backgrounds using two fun printmaking techniques: relief printing and bubble printing. \nWhile their prints dry\, young artists will design sea creatures\, plants\, and other ocean-inspired elements using a variety of drawing materials. Students will then collage their creations onto their backgrounds to complete a colorful underwater scene filled with texture\, movement\, and imagination. \nLed By: Alex Kessler \nAges: 5-10 \nFee: $40
