Throughout the six weeks students will learn how to operate a sewing machine\, they will learn how to read a pattern\, and how to cut and pin fabric. All the supplies will be provided\, and at the end of the session the students will have a reading pillow that they created all on their own \n During the class kids will be working with scissors\, fabric\, sewing machine\, rulers\, pins\, and fabric pencils.

DESCRIPTION:6 TUESDAYS –9/15- 10/20 \nFee: $221 Members\, $245 Non Members \nDo you want to learn how to sew? Do you like to read? Then come and have fun learning how to sew in this kids beginning sewing class. During this six week class kids will create a travel reading pillow by learning basic sewing skills. Throughout the six weeks students will learn how to operate a sewing machine\, they will learn how to read a pattern\, and how to cut and pin fabric. All the supplies will be provided\, and at the end of the session the students will have a reading pillow that they created all on their own \n During the class kids will be working with scissors\, fabric\, sewing machine\, rulers\, pins\, and fabric pencils.

DESCRIPTION:In a warm\, relaxed environment\, middle school youth will explore watercolor fundamentals (color mixing\, composition\, and paint application techniques) to create whimsical paintings from a variety of fun\, fall-themed subjects. Each participant will develop their visual imagination and personal point of view\, as well as build technical skills to create increasingly detailed works of art.
