Every other week\, we will explore the world of arts and crafts with a cool new project. \nArt Smart is a drop-in program for kids ages 5-12 where children spend time learning art techniques\, exploring art materials and honing fine motor skills. Art Smart is about the process of creating art – if something is too hard or too easy\, that’s ok! There is no requirement to do anything a certain way. Art is sometimes messy! We have a sink in the room for kids and caregivers to wash hands as needed throughout the program. The librarians provide verbal and visual cues to signal transitions from art activities to collaborative cleanup. \nThis is a drop-in program — no registration needed!
