DESCRIPTION:North Country Studio Workshops is hosting Open Studios in celebration of National Handmade Day and the artists and craftspeople who make us thrive. \nYou are invited to visit one or more of their participating craftspeople on this day to learn more about NCSW\, their artists and craftspeople\, and upcoming 2027 workshops. \nEach Open Studio will provide a different opportunity\, from a small Vermont studio to a larger gathering of artists in Medford. \nAt ACM\, fiber arts demonstrations will be given every 30 minutes for 10-15 minutes with: \n\nDeborah Pressman\, cold wax\nLynne Francis-Lunn\, sculptural weaving with paper\nLois Russell\, basketry\nMarsy Sumner\, fiber collage\nPolly Allen\, basketry\nLynn Goldberg\, basketry.\n\nNCSW’s Open Studios are part of H a n d w o r k 2 0 2 6 \, Craft in America’s Nationwide Semiquincentennial collaboration showcasing the importance of the handmade and celebrating the diversity of craft that defines America.
