DESCRIPTION:Let’s Move! is a free six-week outdoor dance series hosted by The Click and the Medford Family Network. Held at Harris Park\, the program encourages families to get moving through creative dance\, music\, and play in a fun\, welcoming environment. \nSessions take place Thursdays from July 9 through August 13\, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The program is recommended for families with children ages 3 to 8\, though all ages and abilities are welcome. No dance experience is necessary\, and participants are invited to attend one\, several\, or all of the free sessions.

It’s the perfect place to shop for fresh produce\, baked goods\, specialty foods\, and handmade products while supporting local businesses. \nThe market takes place every Thursday from June 4 through October 15\, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Condon Shell\, 2501 Mystic Valley Parkway. Admission is free\, and no registration is required. Weekly vendor updates and additional information are available through the Medford Farmers Market.

DESCRIPTION:Kadanz Jazz presents blends of cherished musical styles and rhythms that are not commonly heard in this region. Our repertoire is a confluence of musical styles and rhythms from Africa\, the French Caribbean (Haiti/Martinique)\, Brazil and American Jazz fused together to create a new sound. We hope to inspire our listeners to a broader appreciation of music and cultural horizons. \nKadanz features five local musicians: \nMark Torgerson-guitar \nHilary Noble -percussion/winds \nFabio Pirozzolo-percussion \nMichael Shea- keyboard \nGalen Willett- bass \nThis program is funded through the Medford Arts Council\,  a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council\, a state agency. \nThe library strives to be open and accessible for all.
