DESCRIPTION:Learn to make your own wool yarn using a top-whorl drop spindle! You will spin your own singles with a worsted draft\, join new fiber\, and bracelet ply the singles into a finished yarn. By the end of class\, you will understand the difference between woolen and worsted draft\, how to assess the appropriate level of twist\, how to assess whether a plied yarn is balanced\, and basic troubleshooting. \nThis program is for adults and teens 16+. \nThe library strives to be open and accessible for all. If you need accommodations to attend the program\, please be sure to register. There is a follow-up question that will help us understand how we can include you in our programs. \nDid this program fill up immediately? Fear not!
